- Phone Counselling -
We understand that sometimes it can be hard to get to a physical office due to reasons varying from personal injury to living outside of the city centre and not having a lot of local resources available to you. Ignite Counselling is hoping to help bridge some of the gap in services to you by offering both: 'Phone Counselling' and 'E-Counselling'.
Phone counselling is very similar to a face to face session with the main difference naturally being that you won't be able to physically see your counsellor during your time together. It is important to ensure that when taking part in a phone session, that you find somewhere private and confidential for yourself to be able to talk and also an area free from distractions. At your agreed upon appointment time, your Counsellor will call you, in order to keep you from being charged any kind of long distance fees.
Please note that our agency's phone number will show up as 'Blocked' or 'Unknown' for privacy reasons. If you do not answer, your Counsellor will try back in another 5-10 minutes. If at that point, your Counsellor is still not able to connect with you, the appointment will be considered a 'No Show' and rescheduling the appointment will need to occur.
Please speak with your Counsellor at any point that you feel that phone counselling would be more beneficial to you.
